State of the Race

From what I can see:
  1. I'll bet T-Paw wishes he hadn't dropped out so soon.
  2. I also bet he wishes he hadn't endorsed Romney.
  3. We're running out of Not Romneys.
  4. No matter how richly Obama deserves to lose, it's not going to be easy for me to make the case that any of the declared candidates for president on the Republican side deserves to win.

I don't think T-Paw would be in a much different place than Santorum, but it would have been interesting. I certainly don't think the Ames straw poll should have held that much sway in his decision-making.

True that. When you put all your eggs in one basket and then trip over a pole, or some straw, or whatever it was... Well, the moral of the story is to not fall on all of those eggs. And Pawlenty ended up with a big Iowegian omelet all over his torso. And you know what they say about omelets. Not presidential.

T-Paw (holding his head in his hands):I could have been not-romney.
i would have been a not-romney.
I'd a been a better not-romney than all those guys.

Agree completely, joey.

I'd heard that about omelets, WBP. They also say that about umlauts, as it turns out.

I wish Republicans would quit doing Obama's job of demonizing the eventual nominee. I don't care one whit about who is the best not-Romney. I want to know who is the best not-Obama
