Forward?

It's the state motto of my home state of Wisconsin and now, it's the slogan of the Obama campaign:

Forward

It's also a term with plenty of Marxist implications.

We could have a lot of fun with this one. And I think we will.

The more radical elements of the Democratic Party (of which I would consider Obama a member) must really be feeling emboldened. Given the class warfare/envy strategy that they appear to be using for the upcoming election, using a slogan with Marxist ties is really not a surprise.

This flanks the left end of the constiuency, but what happens to the squishy middle that is needed by Obama (and of course Republicans as well) to win the election. I guess if he tosses out enough freebies these elements can be deceived as well.

Am the only one that feels as if the lastest divisive strategies are propelling us towards a scenario much like the Russian Civil war before Stalin took over?

from what i've read, Obama's strategy is to energize the base after having given up on middle class swing voters.

this may be a dog whistle to aid in that task.

if he can damage/smear Romney enough to muddy the waters, the swing will stay home and this strategy just might work.

I thought the slogan was quite fitting since his economic mantra has been "backwards."

Yes.

Yes.

Okay, I laughed. Hanging curve balls must be sent deep into the bleachers.

Aunt Judy is wrong? I am aghast!

Whatever respect I had for President Obama has pretty much left the building with some of his latest stunts. But I do respect the office he holds, but since we don't elect a king, I suppose Aunt Judy may have been a bit imprecise in her definitions....

i've tried to respect him for the office he holds, and like you, some of the disrespectful crap he's pulled makes it increasingly difficult for me as well.

last year, if introduced, i would gladly shake the hand of the President.
today, i'd just turn and walk away.

I'm just thankful that I, as a Christian, do not find myself in the place of Christians in the first century, bound by Scripture to pray for emperors who had used my friends as living torches.

But that said, Mr. Obama has not earned my respect, and hence I find myself praying for the leader while knowing that his decisions are reprehensible.
