Johnson in the race

Jeff Johnson wants to be your next Minnesota governor:

Hennepin County Commissioner Jeff Johnson made it official on Sunday: He wants the state’s top job.

At a news conference at a community hall in Hamel, just west of Plymouth, Johnson said he wants to replace Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton in 2014 because the state is heading in the wrong direction. “If we do not correct our course — soon — I am afraid that the greatness of Minnesota is in serious jeopardy,” he said.
Hard to disagree with that. I've met Johnson and was impressed with him. He's quick on his feet and very bright. We'll likely see other candidates announce for the race as the year goes on, but Johnson has to be an early favorite.

Any old DUI's we don't know about (yet)? How about former business associates that might file a lawsuit alleging they were wronged in dealings with Johnson (only to see the lawsuit dismissed after the election)? Political minds want to know.

Unfortunately, while Republicans are looking under all the REAL rocks for dirt, the DFL just kicks back and makes stuff up.
