Berg totally disses the hardcore scene (it style and imageries and attitudes) that heavy metal was competing against by borrowing from in order to attain commercial success.. but thats ok, we were used to it.

I hear you, Gino. I do think you had to be there, at least in part, to understand it, and Mitch wasn't. Neither was I. I only know about it second-hand.

I was in the Cities for part of it. Hung out with some of them.
