Ex-Viking WR Mike Wallace, explaining his move to Baltimore:
“When this process started, I knew that I wasn’t going back to Minnesota,” he said, according to the Baltimore Sun. “I was like, ‘I need a good quarterback.’ ...I need a quarterback who I know is proven and can get things done.”

As a Vikings fan, I was not offended in the least by Wallace's comments. Facts are that Vikes QB Teddy Bridgewater has been merely OK his first two years as starter whereas Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco went to the playoffs each of his first 5 years and has a Super Bowl ring. To Wallace's point, Flacco has "got things done." The hope, of course, is Bridgewater continues to progress into a very good QB. The jury is still out.

Truth be told, I was surprised Wallace held his tongue last year given his reputation for becoming disgruntled in both Pittsburgh and Miami. I suppose an $11 million salary in 2015 helped assuage those frustrations.
