The Zero Mostel Transition

I'm finding it difficult to write about Team Trump's transition, because too much of what I'm reading plays like this:

Everything is going to hell in every possible way. There are more monsters than days of the week. I can't even keep track of how many people are existential threats. How will we ever recognize an actual existential threat if everything and everyone is already an existential threat?

These next four years look to be more hysterical than the first four of Bush.

It could be stunning if Trump does a good job learning how to work with Congress. Not quite sure whether that's a good, or bad, stunning, but it will be stunning.

I suspect he’ll do better with Congress, especially a Republican Congress, than he will with his shrieking critics.

I'm hoping he accomplishes all the good things he can in the first 100 days and leaves the Democrats sobbing inconsolably and babbling like idiots. That latter, of course, would not be new, just of no importance.
