I have heard of 1968 being the peak of dirty hippies changing the world. Tricky Dick also won the Whitehouse that same time. A lot of comparisons have been made between Trump and Nixon. Mostly due to both being corrupt. Like they were the only two, or the only politicians man enough to win one could say.
Those are discussions for another time. So would 2017 be this era's 1968? Is that why the left, women, children, and others that aren't minorities, or people that know what real struggle is are acting out now. Is this their ungracious defeat? Or am I oversimplifying like I can often do in hopes that our nation slowly comes back down to earth?

I can see the comparison. The Left always assumes its victories are inevitable and permanent, but their rhetoric never lines up with their behavior, mostly because human nature is what it is and power corrupts, as Dead White European Male Lord Acton said. And the Left is pulling out all the stop to maintain its power, and that includes using everything and everyone in the ol' prop bag to keep it.
