We know the Times hasn't.

Brad,

That's really good. Thanks for sharing it. I also noticed that Alan Dershowitz said there wasn't anything wrong with the way Palin used the term.

Dan,

I understand that. It got that way for me with Clinton in his second term.Mr. Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13920907647566015611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19838051.post-36970013380146184242011-01-13T22:17:02.973-06:002011-01-13T22:17:02.973-06:00When Obama comes on I change the channel. He has no credibility on just about any issue he bloviates upon.CousinDan 54915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19838051.post-86547472499509623412011-01-13T22:14:43.594-06:002011-01-13T22:14:43.594-06:00Rabbi Shmuley Boteach had a great piece in the WSJ...Rabbi Shmuley Boteach had a great piece in the WSJ regarding Sarah Palin's use of the phrase "blood libel."Brad Carlsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10443466836095058736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19838051.post-24943051956030796802011-01-13T22:07:11.820-06:002011-01-13T22:07:11.820-06:00The other part of this which you don't referen...The other part of this which you don't reference, but I'm sure you've thought about, is that Obama's call for civility was a howler when taken in the context of his own behavior.

Now, there is the possibility that this situation has brought home to him that he needs to mend his ways and that he spoke with sincerity. I hope so. But it will be interesting to see how he actually behaves.

Of course I do not expect him to be perfectly civil, he is a politician in a particular party after all. He just needs to rid himself of his nasty habit of casting blame about and using straw men to make himself look reasonable.

As for the New York Times, it is continues to have no credibility.W.B.
