The post-Super Bowl edition of Sports Illustrated had an article about the great championship comebacks this past year, and also tied it into Brexut and Trump's win. Not really in a sneering way, just noting how little we really know.
With most cities heavily subsidizing games like football, how would the games leagues avoid being absorbed into liberal ideology? He who pays the piper calls the tune, really.
