Occupy Wall Street is looking to make its mark — on everything from tote bags to t-shirts.I guess intellectual property isn't theft. That's something.
The Occupy Wall Street movement applied for the trademark to its name on Oct. 24, filing for the use of the mark on its website, in periodicals and newsletters, and on clothing and bags.
What will be the most fun is when they start licensing. I can just see some of the merch now:
My Very First Occupation, by Kenner!
OWS Occu-Tents, exclusively available at REI
Cop Car Commode
Drum Circle Jerky (currently being test-marketed in Madison)
