North Korea said it was surprised by President Donald Trump’s decision to cancel a June 12 summit with Kim Jong Un and it remained willing to meet with the U.S. at any time.North Korea needs a deal much more than the United States does. Trump knows this and when Kim and his pals decided to stomp their jackboots, Trump walked away. Meanwhile, all the lefties who were laughing about commemorative coins and whatnot yesterday will be waking up to this headline and going back to their puddles of bile.
First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye Gwan said Friday that his country still wanted to pursue peace and said it would give Washington more time to reconsider talks. He added that North Korea “inwardly highly appreciated” Trump for agreeing to the summit, and hoped the “Trump formula” would help lead to a deal between the adversaries.
“The first meeting would not solve all, but solving even one at a time in a phased way would make the relations get better rather than making them get worse,” Kim said in a statement carried Friday by the state-run Korean Central News Agency. “We would like to make known to the U.S. side once again that we have the intent to sit with the U.S. side to solve problem regardless of ways at any time.”

Trump seems to understand things previous presidents did not: the key to limiting NoKo is hiding in Beijing, and in plain site. I even said this several months ago.
Trump is adding pressure (like tariffs, or threat of) on chinese goods, forcing them to bring pressure on NoKo to dance to a different tune... and also offering financial help, in exchange for security promises...
The opportunity is there to peel NoKo away from china in the long run.
This is a long play for Trump to pulloff, but its the only play in the book for this situation.
if this scenario wont work, Trump has plenty of tools to pressure both nations, a pressure NoKo can least afford, and i dont think Kim wants a coup.
and no, i do not beleive Trump will sign something inappropriate. He plays for real.
