Andrea Mitchell, it should be noted, has a degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania, a member in good standing of the Ivy League. By the way, she shares alumni status at Penn with the Bad Orange Man, but that's a secondary issue here.
Ted Cruz was correct. Andrea Mitchell was wrong. Jennifer Rubin is non compos mentis on her best days. Our betters, who hold the commanding heights of power and influence in this moment, are dumb. Especially when they try to dunk on other people on Twitter.

Mitchell should find another line of work. Teaching, or poetry, or anything else but whatever she's doing now. And I've never heard of the other guy. Shit like that is why we got Trump, and why we'll get another version of him eventually. But the next one will know how the levers were built, how they operate, and how to maneuver them all
Trying, and getting convictions of those that were directly responsible for the events of 01/06 should be the main goal. And the case can be made for Trump suggesting things. But they're really not going to like that can of worms once it's opened up. Trump probably doesn't run again, and will probably find it even more enjoyable the functionality of his newfound power of reshaping his party. He just might turn the Republicans back into something truly grand that uses economics to help people to lift themselves up regardless of who they are. And not just telling people that's what they're doing with all of the nice little window dressing
But they're really not going to like that can of worms once it's opened up.
They'll enjoy it least as much as they enjoyed nuking the judicial filibuster.
Shame on Mitchell, exercising her privilege and quoting dead white men. She should be canceled.
