Oh, how provocative! To me anyway. So I went ahead and posted about it myself. You can guess that I'm ALL for stricter gun laws, but this time I am more concerned about equality.
Some of those questions are of a no-win variety (Paris Hilton or Martha Stewart?) and are bound to cause some inaccuracy in the calculation. I came out with the same result as Mark, although I am definitely a domestic revolver guy. You can't go wrong with a heavy calibur semi-auto, but for personal defense The Judge is hard to beat.
What part of "shall not be infringed" don't liberals understand? Gun laws are already too strict!
No one is forced to own a gun but liberals are quick to take away the right of those of us who choose not to be a victim. This isn't rocket science. Response to a 911 call: about 3 minutes on a good day. 6 rounds from even a slow single-action revolver: about 3 seconds. It doesn't take a professional actuary to figure out which option is more conducive to continued metabolic activity.
I'm all for superiority rather than equality, especially when it comes to firepower in a threatening situation.
The quiz is lame. I kept looking for "none of the above" on some of the questions, especially that Paris Hilton vs. Martha Stewart thing. Talk about Hobson's choice!
I like that Judge, RH. I really like that Judge. Good call.
Amanda, one thing to remember: when every second counts, the police are only minutes away.
You can click on the link on my sidebar, which takes you over to both True North and Truth vs. the Machine. I post both places, but haven't put anything up in either for a few days. Am trying to get be a little better about my blogging but inspiration has been lacking a bit lately.
The Judge is the only revolver (or indeed handgun) that I have ever fired, and I liked it pretty well. However, I think I'll have to try some others before making any judgments.
(Where's my best man? I've got a bachelor party idea.)
I think Gino has a point. I tried re-taking the survey with minor changes each time and always ended up with the Glock unless I voted radically different.
Good chioce on the Sig. The Glock also seems to be jam prone, especially after repeated firing of hot loads. I also looked at the Springfield Armory XD 45 ACP at the Anoka gun show a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed with the balance and unique firing mechanism.

I am the same as you, Mark!
Btw, how do I find your posts on True North - or am I getting the name wrong?

The Judge rocks!
Mr. D., I was wondering once I got to those sites, how do I find your articles? I guess I am blog article illiterate. :o)

hmmm...
methinks this whoe 'test' was merely an online advert for one particular firearm. who's with me on that?

The best man is here. I came out the same as most everybody else. I think Gino hit it on the head.
So, our in-house poet is thinking about an activity involving firearms during his bachelor party.
As long as it doesn't also include the federal reserve bank in Mpls., I open to your suggestions.
