The Pentagon says the top American commander in Afghanistan, Gen. John Allen, is under investigation for alleged "inappropriate communications" with Jill Kelley, the woman who is said to have received threatening emails from Paula Broadwell, the woman with whom former CIA Director David Petraeus had an extramarital affair.
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta says the FBI referred the matter to the Pentagon on Sunday. Panetta says he ordered a Pentagon investigation of Allen on Monday.
I swear, we're going to look up and find out that Norman Schwarzkopf and Omar Bradley are implicated in this thing before we're done.

Are these folks (secret service, cia, fbi, etc...) more apt to focus on what's going on in their pants than before? I don't want to assume that, but it sure seems like it. It's very unprofessional.
I've got to wonder what kind of other things are going on in there. It sounds like too many are not up to speed on the concept that if you've got some things in your life you might not want made public, you've got no business having anything to do with classified information.
And wait til they check out Admiral James Stockdale, the fun never ends.
