Seriously, I've seen some good stuff, and quite a bit of idiocy, on social media. That noted, to present evidence and come across as profound in 140 characters or less, or even 280, is easier said than done.
An effective way to use Twitter is to drive traffic to your web site or blog where you have the flexibility and text real estate to make an effective case for or against a given topic. 140 characters is not enough in most cases to express anything substantive.
