Question for the audience

Technical question, actually:

  • Do you use an ad blocker?
  • If you don't, do you see ads on my blog?
The reason I'm asking is my ad blocker indicates it's blocked multiple ads on my site. And I don't have ads on my site, at least that I've authorized.

Let me know -- I'm curious about this.

No and No.

i wish i knew how to block ads, though. it would ease my browsing in general.

apparently I am not using an ad blocker (I thought I was) but I do not see ads. Certainly not the big objectionable ones I see on other blogs.

I use Ad Blocker Ultimate, free on Chrome. It's pretty darn effective, too, and allows only Google and it's favored minions to track me. I don't see any ads on your site, or pretty much anywhere. I get a lot of requests from webmasters to unblock, though.

Unfortunately, I can't get the blocker for my mobile devices, even though there is Chrome for mobile. When I decide to click on a story link from Facebook, the pop-up ads make the article almost impossible to read. If the ad experience wasn't so unpleasant, I wouldn't have been so eager to get an ad-blocker.
