To bad I didn't think of some way to get Rev. Jackcson pissed of at Sparky. I could have saved some money on his little operation.

I don't know if this is contrived or not, but it's a wonderful "controversy" for Obama to stumble into. He is for regular, mainstream values like fathers staying with their families and for children learning to read instead of playing video games. If he was actually serious then Jesse Jackson is an even bigger ignoramus than I thought. And that's saying something.

Yep, gotta agree that this is a huge win for Obama. Now he gets to add being the anti-Jesse Jackson to his resume in addition to being the anti-Hillary Clinton. Better and better.

But SA, I always thought that Hillary Clinton and Jesse Jackson were supposed to be wonderful people, emblematic in their own ways of the American Dream and exemplars of what's right about America.

You mean their virtues were overstated? Really? I'm crushed.

Of course they are Mark, just like Larry Craig and David Vitter. Name another country in the world were those four people could all rise to the top echelons of power and influence. God Bless America.

So the woman who came closer to the presidency than any other and the primary face of the civil rights movement for the last 40 years are the equivalent of two backbencher Republican perverts?

Sure you want to make that argument, SA?

of course they are not equivilant, mark.
get real.

vitter and craig are still politically viable.

besides, they were just looking to get screwed, instead putting the screws to the nation.

i want to add:
there is another reason why jesse is pissed at O.
O had dissed him personally by refering to black men who father babies out of wedlock and play no role in the child's life.
