I wrote Thursday about Saint Amy Klobuchar and her penchant for petulance. There was more piling on yesterday, from the always-dubious Buzzfeed, with Vanity Fair serving as a relayer to a larger audience. You can take it for what's it's worth. But there's a more interesting question. It's clear someone is orchestrating all this. Who do you think it is? And why?

And the coverage from the Star Tribune? Well, not quite "crickets" but borderline.
I noticed in their preemptive coverage of her announcement tomorrow, there was no mention of the recent stories. I didn't except they'd hammer her (it's the Star Tribune, after all), but not even recognizing that her kick-off has already started with some flaws is the political equivalent of whistling past the graveyard.

I think Coolican made reference to it on his blog, but yeah. And the local television stations are full-on Sergeant Schultz on the bit.
Back a few months I seem to remember that Tom Steyer was in the news for bankrolling Andrew Gillum for governor in Florida. "Pushing the envelope" liberal, person of color. Klobuchar is female, but she's white. That's a strike against her. Also, she doesn't let her freak flag fly. Obama didn't, but something seems to have changed in the last few years. The Socialist wing of the Democrat party isn't interested in hiding itself any longer.
Sooo, my guess is Steyer, but it's not as if he's much different than loads of other Democrats; he's just got the bucketloads of cash to be influential
