Their country is broke. I wonder if any of these protesters have a better solution.Meanwhile, I have a question, too. Since one of the primary industries of Greece is tourism, how will scaring off the tourists help matters?
I kinda get the impression that people aren't exactly thinking things through in the cradle of Western Civilization.

Hey, they're rioting. Isn't that classic IRRATIONAL behavior? My own concern is that we have the same irrational people here. Right now they aren't rioting, but unfortunately they still vote in ways that will lead to us becoming Greece.

In Wisconsin, when 2,000 people showed up to protest the Governor's reforms, the mainstream media reported it was 10,000 people. Maybe same thing here?
People come to visit your antiquities. Scare them off by rioting, and bonus points if you blow up your antiquities!
