No impact.

I can tell Michael Cohen's testimony before Congress yesterday was ineffective, because my social media feed tells me as much. Had anything that mattered come to light, there would be rejoicing among my old college friends and the other angry Leftist virtue signalers in my acquaintance. But I'm mostly seeing cat photos instead. Better luck next time!

What struck me is that Cohen said nothing that could really be verifiable, except for the fact that he was completely violating the attorney-client relationship. And since he's already disbarred, he has nothing to fear there.

Bubba: i got the feeling he was trying to set himself up as a hero of the resistance, to garner speaking fees and book tour, etc... he used all the words the resistance people want to hear... and called Trump a RACIST!

as for me... i was worried from the get go (three yrs ago) that Trump wouldnt know how to build what in politics is called a 'machine'. yesterday Cohen was talking about how everybody who worked for Trump Inc was expected to defend and protect Trump, no matter what...
in politics, this called a 'machine'. every high level politician has one.
I actually took comfort in that.

cohen is going to prison, where rats are not appreciated. if he gets shanked, i will not mourn.

Meanwhile, I was sitting in the sun watching the Red Sox lose to the Orioles (they also lost to the Rays) so they were 0 for 2, but that's another story.

While basking in the warmth of Jet Blue park I was treated to the pleasure of listening to some displaced Bostonites talking about how they were tapping the whole affair and couldn't wait to get home to see how the Republican's made fools of themselves trying to discredit Cohen and defend President Trump, who they all knew to be undefendable.

Fortunately for me, they were too concerned with climate change and sunburns to stay where they were and moved to a shady spot in the stands just after the game started so I got to enjoy the game.

Officially jealous, as I look out my window at the snowbanks that are 5-6 feet high.
