Game on:
Best comment of the day, from a guy I know on FB:
It's a good thing when the ruling class has to have its head on a swivel.
If this sort of thing sends you to the fainting couch, I would suggest you'd better get the ol' fainting couch reinforced. For all his bluster and suboptimal bedside manner, it's important to understand that, for the last four years, Trump was asking nicely.

Things gonna get real interesting. Say goodbye to the GOP. Trump will burn it on his way out, as should be done to it a long time ago.
A new party will form from the ashes.

I still think Trump has won. Call me a rube, but all of this seems very odd. He downshifted to acquiescence too meekly. The concession speech is off. If I were Biden (or others) I would be terrified right now.

It was a hostage speech.
Trump is done. Trumpism is not, though. Wednesday was a warning shot to the Donks. Biden isn't necessarily terrified of Trump, but his handlers (I don't think Biden is actually in charge of anything) have to be concerned now.
Done? As in GOP leader? Yeah.
As a force, he is not. I will still have his back, and there are millions like me.

Yes. And the reason the Donks are scrambling to gin up an impeachment is because he knows many things the public does not. And he has a lot he can declassify in the remaining days. The Republicans who have turned on him since Wednesday are desperately clutching their rice bowls, but Trump no longer has any reason to help them, either. Why would he help Romney or Murkowski?
