Go away, your idle prattle has grown tiresome:
- Pat Robertson explains why the Haitians apparently deserved it. No, Pat, they don't (H/T: Gino). One other thing, Pat -- Christians tend to use the New Testament, too.
- Chuck Schumer explains why you should support Martha Coakley. Apparently using gratuitous slurs is now mainstream. Good to know -- we've got a bunch for you and your colleagues, Sen. Schumer.
- Newt Gingrich explains that he's a top-tier candidate for president, appropos of nothing. Memo to Newt -- your sell-by date passed about 12 years ago.

i dont think newt is done. he is not currently a top tier, but that could change in month's time.
nixon was done too, remember?
I guess I'm having a hard time imagining who would be Newt's core supporters. He's burned a lot of bridges on the Right and he's not exactly the darling of anyone to center or left.
It would not surprise me if the candidate who emerges is someone we're not even talking about now.
You're up early, by the way.
I'm with Gino...I don't necessarily think Newt is done. We'll see how things play out.
Dick Cheney and Rumsfeld's sell by dates had passed and they had a second life in politics. I know those on the left wish they hadn't but they did.
What's with Pat Robertson anyway?
I'm with Mr. D and Anon, Newt has too much hate from the left due to his success in the '90s, and he alienated a lot on the right recently.
For a Presidential run it is probably too much to overcome.
I wouldn't count him out as a VP contender, except that we want to get a female on the ticket and into office sooooo darned badly.
