Neighbors VII

Water is an issue in New Brighton. Our neighbor to the east, the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant, has been shuttered for years. The pollution left behind has been problematic ever since. The Army has been paying New Brighton for years because of the pollution that befouls the city water.

We heard a lot about the site a few years back when the Vikings were looking at it as a potential place to build their new pleasure dome. Faithful readers will recall that I wrote extensively about these developments. As usually happens, Minneapolis won the day and now the gigantic new stadium is rising on the site of the Metrodome.
