Horrible

What the hell is wrong with people?
Five protesters were shot late Monday night near the Black Lives Matter encampment at the Fourth Precinct police station in north Minneapolis, according to police.

Those who were shot sustained non-life-threatening injuries, said police spokesman John Elder in a statement.

Miski Noor, a media contact for Black Lives Matter, said “a group of white supremacists showed up at the protest, as they have done most nights.”

One of the three counterdemonstrators wore a mask, said Dana Jaehnert, who had been at the protest site since early evening.

When about a dozen protesters attempted to herd the group away from the area, Noor said, they “opened fire on about six protesters,” hitting five of them. Jaehnert said she heard four gunshots.
I do hope the police find the perps and that the criminal justice system deals with the shooter(s) expeditiously. We'll keep following the story.

four shots. five hits. thats good shooting. it usually takes the cops a full magazine (16 rounds) from each cop present to take a fleeing man down.
of course, when the cops do it, it never really happened that way, ya know...

but at least they got the 'body cams'.. oh, nope... they malfunctioned... again...

One account was how some BLM members were "escorting white supremacists away from the protest area" when these white same guys started opening fire. Ummm.....where do these BLM folks get the idea that they're the only ones with the the right to protest on *public* grounds? No one other than law enforcement has any authority to escort anyone away from a protest.

I dunno. The whole citation of "white supremacists" sounds fishy to me.

I don't know what to think. The fog of war is awfully thick around everything happening in North Minneapolis recently.

So is the cloud of rhetoric.

Other reports said the anti-protesters were being "herded" rather than escorted. Were they classified as "white supremacists" because they actually stated/chanted that they think blacks are inferior, or just because they challenged the group's Black Privilege to protest in the streets without legal consequences or regard for anyone else's First Amendment rights?

They might have been hoarders or wreckers. You can't rule that out.
