As we near the election I'm picking up the narrative that the Dems had a blockbuster Q3 for fundraising and that they're going to swamp the GOP. The Kashoggi thing is bad, bad news, I'm told. There is unrest on the border, a horde coming. The generic ballot shows the Dems up 7. Blah, blah, blah.
I don't buy it. I think the election is going to be bad news for Democrats, all of this is the same garbage they always give us. They are manipulative gaslighters.
I had my dad write down my prediction last week, but I might as well put it here. Following the election: the GOP gains 5 seats minimum in the Senate (56) and stays even in the House (235).

I’m still trying to figure out why we're supposed to care about Khashoggi. He seems to be the Quemoy and Matsu of this election cycle.
