i also think its a false flag operation. a dem operative, to be sure... because i just doubt that the right, who loves the queensbury rules of losing at politics, doesnt have somebody who would do this.
I hope you are right, that the Right doesn't have anybody this stupid or inept. And frankly the timing, coupled with the over-the-top Leftist response, adds to my suspicions.
Don’t get me wrong – there’s reason to suspect a false flag. The one thing I find most odd about this incident is that we’re getting to see what the bombs look like. We didn’t see the Unabomber’s work at the time. Of course, his bombs worked. But if these bombs were real, the bomb squad would have detonated them and we wouldn’t have seen them. Aside from the first one that was sent to Soros, I haven’t heard that any of the others were detonated.
But again, we don’t know. I’m just urging caution.
Caution? fuck that! this is war. i just sincerely hope, that one of 'ours' can make 'them' feel less safe for a change. this is a war. we need to start fighting it as it is, Mr Queensbury.

Even in a war, it's sometimes advisable to keep one's powder dry.
Especially in a war, we want to keep our powder dry. Hold your horses; people are predicting that the FBI will pull DNA, prints, etc., off this, and that the part # and serial # information on various components will lead to sellers and hence the customers--and the perps.
Arguing for false flag is the relative ineptness and clumsiness/Wile E. Coyote factor. Arguing against it is the amount of evidence that may be pulled off the packages--though if it's clearly "not a weapon", that may not be as significant.
I'm personally, as an engineer, puzzled by why the apparent detonator looks like a cigarette lighter insert with the nichrome pulled out, and why the leads are not ordinary leads from a detonator (18 gauge or so twisted pair wire), but rather appear to be 12 or 14 gauge strands pulled from house wiring. Plus why this "bomb" is PVC instead of metal, the odd choice of timer/trigger, lack of postal cancellations, etc.. I've put together some kluges in my time, to be sure, but this beats all....

Some thought it may be a false flag operation, designed to get caravan and Kavanaugh off the front pages.

Preliminary indications are that is it indeed a far-right wacko. I hope that's wrong.

Where did you see that, Jerry?

PVC instead of metal to save on postage!
Now confirmed the guy is a wacko. "Far right" is questionable. Good to see we now have a Trump-hating anti-Semite on the front page.
