Apparently his odd insult, calling a woman a "lying dog-faced pony soldier," was from an old John Wayne movie (I suppose there's no other kind any more, since the Duke has been gone for over 40 years). Of course, John Wayne fans are a key demographic in any Democratic Party primary, pilgrim. The only pony soldiers I remember are tied to NFL Films:
Biden is not gonna make it -- anyone who has followed his career knew that going in. He was a ridiculous buffoon the first time he ran for president, back in 1988, and ridiculous buffoons don't typically gain much wisdom. I am waiting to see what his next source of insult humor is -- perhaps he could try James Cagney next, who offered a tidy summation of Biden's campaign over 70 years ago now:

His first run for President, Biden got busted for using Neil Kinnock quotes as his own. Now he's doing John Wayne?
How about one from Dandy Don Meredith: "Turn out the lights, the Party's over."
When he announced I called it. He was never going to be president.
The meltdown has been fun to watch actually. Some say it's a sad spectacal. They could never wringer. This man deserves ever bit of this.and more.
Gino.
Wronger.
Gino, I liked wringer better than wronger, but I agree that Uncle Joe deserves every bit of disdain he gets. The fact someone high up in the DNC thought this was a good idea and encouraged his campaign to beat their communist/socialist frontrunner shows the incredible lack of understanding within the party.
And then they found out that there is no John Wayne movie where that line is quoted. I heard some people state that Biden needs to get out there more with people, but then if he does that he makes more gaffes. He is in a no-win situation.
