Who was impressed, other than people that already hate Trump? If there's a single undecided voter in the land anymore, it has not been a good week for the Dem brand. Even sore losers hate other sore losers. Her posturing was a nice coda to the posturing of the impeachment circus, and the one thing the Dems could have used to puff something positive - the Iowa caucuses - they botched.

Say, how did that tearing up the Pope's picture turn out for Sinead?

Nancy plays to her base. No doubt they think she's heroic for standing up to Trump this way. In the meantime, he's rolling her, and she knows it.

I saw a video of early in the speech where she quietly took a page of the speech under the desk testing it to make sure she could actually tear it. Says a lot about her aging and confidence in her own ability.

My take away -- next time print the handouts on the same paper FEDEX uses in their envelopes.

Cue ball did it better. One can argue if she was misguided in her protest. But not that she believed in her cause. Pelosi only believes in what almost every politician pools all of their faith into, power, which she does still have some. But not as much as she'd like to be wielding at this time. And money, but she still has more than enough of that, and so she is still able to hold onto what she worships
