44 degrees, driving rain. Don't you hate that Metrodome?

If you were to do a Google image search for "foul weather," you might find today displayed. We've had a steady, wind-driven rain all day here in the Twin Cities and it appears that we are looking at another wash-out weekend. This is a day that has "rainout" written all over it, but the Twins will take the field later today in their teflon-coated playhouse. The reason the citizens of Minnesota built the reviled Metrodome 25 years ago is precisely because of days like this. Now, everyone wants to get rid of the thing and move back outdoors. We've got tix for tomorrow night; while the Dome is an eyesore, at least we'll see a game. Not so sure that will be the case if we have similar weather some year in the future....
