Edward Snowden, who leaked classified National Security Agency documents, might have been working for Russian spy services before he left his job as an NSA contractor last year, the heads of the House and Senate intelligence committees said Sunday.Does that change the story? Well, yeah, but you also have to wonder about a spy who acts like a whistleblower. I don't recall seeing anyone who exactly fits Snowden's profile before. Then again, I'm not a cloak and dagger guy.
“I don’t think it was a gee-whiz luck event that he ended up in Moscow under the handling” of Russia’s state security service, said Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., chairman of the House panel.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee, was asked whether she agreed with Rogers that Snowden may have had help from the Russians. “He may well have. We don’t know at this stage,” she said.
Neither Rogers nor Feinstein offered evidence that Snowden had been working with Moscow. Both lawmakers said their committees would continue to pursue the suspicions.

All I can think of is the Church Lady saying "How Conveeeeenient"
til i see some evidence, i'll accept the original narrative.
although, i can see the benefit to certain members of our govt who want to believe he was one of 'ours' til those dastardly russians came along and corrupted him, as opposed to the other version of 'we screwed the pooch with our oversight and personnel management'.
Insinuation without evidence. Bullshit.
Insinuation without evidence. Bullshit.
Actually, I'm inclined to agree. The congresscritters need to put up.
