I was highly temped to write about the Vikings' former man-child punter over at SITD, but I think Kevin Seifert of ESPN probably has the most honest assessment of the situation:
Can somebody please go tell Mr. Kluwe his 15 minutes are up and to leave the stage?
He won't listen. This ceased being about gay marriage a long time ago and is now a story about a narcissist relying his Deep Thoughts.
I don't care if you're an NFL punter or a guy who works for any other private employer, it's not complicated. If you're more trouble than you're worth, you're gone. If Kluwe had Andy Lee's leg, he'd be in the NFL right now. He doesn't, so he's gone.
