So it appears that the oft-reported human interest story concerning the tragic death of the girlfriend of Manti Te'o, Notre Dame's highly decorated linebacker, was an elaborate hoax.
Perhaps this is news, or maybe it's just a tradition among Hawaiian dudes.

What a weird story! I saw a report that stated that this is the weirdest relationship story since the Jan Brady/George Glass fiasco. My first thought was about Captain Tuttle on MASH. Before we all pile on to heavily on a kid who either was in on a hoax that got out of control, or was simply duped, please show some respect because as one other tweeter mentioned, "there is a fictitous person who never existed who has died."
