Anyone could become obsessed with the past with a background like that!

He's protesting the high cost of groceries on non-riot days.

i think its time that we as a nation just shrug this stuff off. watch our own neighborhood and let others deal with the attitudes, anger and criminality in their own.

no amount of public preaching will change attitudes that are taught and reinforced in the homes of certain classes. it is what they are, and will be, until they get tired of it themselves.

and you cant stop a media that feeds off such things.

Just another case where the wrong people suffer because of things that were done by others. A punk goes out on a night of theft and destruction, gets himself killed. He may not have necessarily deserved to die, but there is no question that his actions at least partially contributed to his demise. No matter the fault, in the end, let the store owners suffer. It's all justified because of past indignations. How do solve a problem like this? Really how do you?

What I'm curious about is: does anybody think that these riots would NOT have occurred if there had been an indictment for first degree murder? IMHO there were those people who were going to riot, regardless of the verdict, and certainly with no regard whatsoever for truth and justice. Just more thugs, deserving of the fate of thugs.
