I saw this headline, or a variant of it, several times in recent days:
We've explained this before, but apparently people don't get it. The reason this priest is being dismissed isn't that he's gay -- he's being dismissed because he's not celibate. If he'd come out with a woman on his arm, the result would have been the same.

I'm sure the good gay priest can find a welcoming home among the Anglicans.
News isn't about truth. It's about calculated lying.
I thought I read that the Pope forgave Henry VIII for the divorce, so now the Anglicans can all come home.
We might suggest as well that the issue isn't just about priestly celibacy, but also about honoring contracts. A priest can ask to be removed from the priesthood if he figures out he cannot live a celibate life, no?
