Given the constant shrieking about the Leader of the Free World from his myriad detractors, it can be difficult to separate out what's happening from the noise itself. But I have a hunch that the noise level at the moment is more about desperation that the story is about to change, and change decisively. I can't prove it, but it feels that way. Let's check back in a month and see.

I wish your hunch were a bit more specific...
I’ll try to boil it down. I wasn’t able to pull together relevant links this morning to backstop these suppositions in the limited time I had to write this morning, but they are out there if you care to look, Jerry.
The IG report is apparently pretty close to complete.
It’s apparently quite damning to McCabe, Comey et al., but also to others.
Further, Sessions apparently has had a prosecutor looking at the case for a while now, someone from main Justice, but not from the home office.
Someone in the structure has been telling what he knows.
McCabe and Comey have stopped pretending to be above the fray. That’s a tell.
Further, the judge overseeing Mueller’s case against Flynn has been looking at whether or not Mueller and his team withheld exculpatory evidence. There’s a chance Mueller may get his butt handed to him by the judge.
The Susan Rice memo to file, written as Obama was leaving office and before Team Trump changed the metaphorical locks, is another tell.
All this is coming down the tracks. It’s also why we’ve seen so much caterwauling about Stormy Daniels lately. The long and the short of it — the swamp is real, and it’s spectacular. And all the buxom porn stars in the world aren’t going to be enough to distract the public from the truth.
Hope that’s specific enough for you, good sir.
Hope you're right, gracious host. I'd love to see half the swamp in jail. My friends working the federal institutions in Waseca, Rochester, and elsewhere will be glad to take care of them.
I don't know that they'll go to jail, but the methane fires should be spectacular!

Let it burn!
I appreciate the information, and concede it is damning from an objective viewpoint. I guess I am too cynical about the drive-by media to believe that this will come to anything. Stormy may continue to be the story until the fires burn out, and the anti-Trumpers are going to continue to believe anything they want to believe.
