It's not particularly complicated, folks. Our betters don't give a damn about anyone's morality. They only care about getting their way. Whether they purport to think better of you, they don't give a damn about you, or what you think, or what you want, unless you agree with them and support what they think and want.

I enjoyed the taunting, but for me, the simple question is "what amount of personal sins equals supporting the taxpayer funded murder of close to a million pre-born babies each year? What amount of personal sins equals supporting the end of history's greatest bulwark against genocide?"
The left wants to hold conservatives to moral positions, which is fine, but they often forget that there are strong moral perspectives involved in their positions that override personal sins.
