I doubt the Pres gave a rat's ass about that. It's just that he was off the record, and was using slightly off color language. And if you read what the reporter who leaked wrote, you would see why he didn't want the story repeated. She tweeted and went all snarky about how un-Presidential it was that he said jackass. She didn't even comment about the content of what he had said. And then, several of her counterparts tore her a new one for her breach of journalistic decorum.
I guess this is what happens when you are so self-absorbed and narcissitic that you walk around somewhere like the WH oblivious to everything around you as you tweet your every thought to people who are dumb enough to read it.
