- Is it worse to get drilled in Seattle, or to get beat by Buffalo on your home field?
- Could you be any more cynical than to plan a big move on immigration, but waiting until after the election?
- Where the heck is Knox College, anyway?
If you have something else, bring it on!

With the exception of the Vikings' second half, I'd say none of the NFC North teams distinguished themselves this weekend (we'll see what the Lions do tonight).
I never believed the hype about the North, with "experts" ranking 3 of the 4 teams in the top 15 or higher. Unless someone's defense massively improves, I think at best we're looking at the division producing one-and-done playoff teams.
my God... it wasnt the Bears D this time. the O just wasnt there at all.
granted, the Bills do have a good D. give them credit, but it should not have been better than our weapons in our home feild.
too many dropped/tipped passes, fumble by Marshall, and too many throws didnt reach the target... bad day... just bad.
i'm hoping it was a lack of focus that can be reversed, because next up are the 49rs.
It could get better for the NFC North, but it's not a great start. I'd like to think things will get better, FR, but there's reason for skepticism.
Obviously the Bears game wasn't on in this market, Gino, but they did cut to the overtime. After watching Fred Jackson stiff arm Conte like he was not even there, it's clear that he's still a problem. The 49ers were good yesterday but the Cowboys handed them the game, so I'm not sure how good the 49ers actually are.
Not only did Jackson treat Conte like a sock-monkey, he started the run by cutting inside of a too-wide Jarod Allen - something we were used to seeing in these parts.
There may be some immoral victory in losing on the road in a tough place compared to losing in your "house" but the cold, mathematical result is the same: 0-1.
All the teams in the NFC North feature some spectacular athletes. Which ones will stay healthy and gel as a team will have to play out. I will say, though, it is much more fun to watch a MN defense that says "Let's see how well you run that play with a fist in your lips," than it is to watch one playing rope-a-dope.
to be fair: Conte had a good game, led the team in tackles.
what happened there with the stiff arm abuse was conte attempting to strip the ball instead of making the play. he would have made the play/tackle easily, but by this time, the bills were within easy feild goal range for the win. Conte knew he had to get the ball loose, and only focused on that.
