Once again, another cartoonish California congressman emerges. Just as Nuke Marmalard (a/k/a Eric Swalwell) is a recognizable type, so is Li'l Schiff: And once again, there's a movie-based correlation:
Now, I'm not suggesting that Adam Schiff is like Peter Lorre's character in M. There's no evidence of that. But if you hear him coming and he's whistling Grieg, you'd best be on your way.
Nancy Pelosi might be the most rational Democrat in the California delegation. That should tell you everything you need to know.

This guy is what makes Congressmen look bad.
It reminds me of Fitzgerald, who knew in three weeks that no crime had been committed, but he pursued Scooter Libby until one was, as well as the Martha Stewart case, which was prosecuted by Jim Comey long after Comey knew that no crime had been committed.
Because it's not like there are any real crimes to be investigated and prosecuted, like Hilliary Clinton's illegal server, the use of the IRS to persecute Obama's political enemies, Fast & Furious, government silencing in the Benghazi matter, etc.. Can't prove it in a court of law, but it sure seems that there are a lot of people out there who view it all as a kind of game.
