We're on our way to Kansas City for a quick vacation, which most likely means a vacation from blogging, unless Stinger decides to post something (and I bet he might, especially after the way Fearless Maria called him out).

I spent about fourteen Augusts in Kansas City. It can be very, very hot, and humid down there. I hope that it is not too much for you, and your family. I hope that you can be there during a break from it. Stinger can even let you know how it can be in that part of the Country during that time of the year. He can also tell you how easy it is to find great BBQ there without even really trying to at all. I hope that you enjoy your stay in the town that I called home up until a few years ago. It is a great place place to visit, but I would not ever live there.
